At Bread Loaf, you’ll join a community of thinkers and teachers in rigorous, immersive, full-time graduate study focused on literature. You’ll engage meaningfully with peers and faculty who are dedicated to transforming texts into thoughts and actions.
Students think across disciplinary boundaries at Bread Loaf: no other master’s program in English connects English, American, and world literatures with creative writing, pedagogy, and theater arts.
Students can also access the Bread Loaf Teacher Network, an innovative, culturally sustaining year-round network promoting social and educational equity and excellence.
